Yamato – The Drummers of Japan, le groupe de taiko le plus réputé de la tradition japonaise, partagera son intarissable énergie avec le public au Théâtre du Léman, où il présentera son nouveau spectacle, « Chousensha », du 8 au 10 février 2019. Ces musiciens virtuoses parcourent le monde depuis plus de 20 ans et ont conquis le cœur de plus de 6 millions de spectateurs dans plus de 50 pays. Avec « Chousensha », le groupe poursuit sur la voie du succès – pour la première fois en collaboration avec Kansai Yamamoto, icône de la mode qui a créé les magnifiques costumes du spectacle. A ses débuts, le designer japonais avait fait sensation dans le monde de l’art en signant les tenues de scène extravagantes de stars telles que David Bowie.

Yamato – The Drummers of Japan are coming to Geneva to share their boundless energy with the audience. From February 8th to 10th 2019 the most successful ensemble in the Japanese Taiko tradition presents its latest show, Chousensha. Combining unbridled power, incredible synchronicity, images full of harmony and a welcome dose of humour, the virtuoso drummers have been touring the world for more than 20 years, capturing the hearts of over 6 million spectators in more than 50 countries. With their new stage show Chousensha they continue their long success story into 2019 – for the first time in collaboration with the celebrated fashion icon Kansai Yamamoto, who has designed fantastical and colourful costumes for the new show. Already early on in his career the Japanese designer caused furore in the art world with his spectacular stage outfits for stars such as David Bowie.
